Every KEYSION DAC tunes with EQ, and no driver is needed to do it: the web console works right in the browser, and the App (Android/HarmonyOS) matches it feature for feature. This guide covers the entry points, the preset system, custom EQ and how saving works, in one pass.

The web console ships with 59 built-in presets in three sizes (10-band / 8-band / 5-band), covering three kinds of use:

The per-game presets are where headphone pairing really matters: for example, FPS presets boost the bands where footsteps and gunfire live, and paired with the esports chip in the G-Turbo X1 you can customize the critical sounds even further.
On their product pages, the S1 / S2 cable-style DAC-amps are listed as "22 presets + 8-band custom EQ" - that's the baseline package on the App side; the web console's preset library keeps growing, so treat the actual interface as authoritative.
Beyond the presets, the console offers a full parametric equalizer: 10 points from 31Hz to 16kHz, each adjustable for gain, Q and filter type (this is a parametric EQ, not a simple bass/treble slider). The tuning flow has one especially practical design - trial mode: an EQ change is written to the device and takes effect immediately; only when you're happy and hit "save" is it written to the chip's Flash.
Every EQ, filter and gain setting adjusted through the console or App is saved into the chip's built-in storage: switch phones, switch computers, unplug and reconnect - your settings stay. The 01/02/02 Pro also support over-the-air firmware updates (OTA); connect the console to check for updates.

On the S1/S2/X1, filters and gain are fixed by the chip scheme and not open for adjustment; mic-related gain and noise-reduction settings are adjustable too on models that support a microphone.

FAQ
Do I need to install anything for the web console?
No. The keysion.cn console runs directly in the browser - Chrome recommended - and talks to the DAC over the WebHID standard. The App (Android/HarmonyOS) offers the same features; either one is enough.
Will my EQ settings be lost after a power cut?
No. Once you're happy with the trial, hit save and the settings are written to the chip's built-in Flash; switching devices or routine unplug/replug won't lose them. Factory reset brings everything back to default in one tap.
Do game presets actually help?
They help - just don't oversell them. Presets like CS2 or Valorant raise the presence of the bands where footsteps and gunfire live, so positioning is easier to catch. They shift the frequency-response tendency; they don't deliver wallhack-grade information. Pair with the X1's esports chip to customize the critical sounds further.
What's the difference between the S1/S2 and the 01/02/02 Pro EQ?
Same entry points and presets, different depth: the 01/02/02 Pro open up filters, gain switching and channel balance; the S1/S2/X1 are fixed by the chip scheme and expose EQ, microphone and firmware updates.
Do I need headphones plugged into the DAC while tuning?
Recommended for trial mode: an EQ change writes to the device and takes effect immediately, so listening while you adjust is the most direct way to dial it in. Once saved, the settings live in the chip, and the unit behaves accordingly whether it's connected to a phone or a computer.
